We love living in Dallas!!
Most of you already know this but just in case you don't know, Tim is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, which made yesterday evening unforgettable. Yesterday Tim and I went to North Park Mall to buy a dress shirt for Tim so he can show off his handsome self at a special wedding we are a part of this coming weekend. :)
Well, as we were walking out and I was chatting up a storm, Tim interrupts me with "It's Jason Witten!". Being married to the biggest Cowboys fan in the world you would think I would know who this is, but I didn't. All of a sudden, as this huge man walks past us, Tim steps in his direction and gives him a little wave and says "Hey Jason, how's it going?". In return, Jason turns to him and says, "Hey Man, what's going on", and continues on his way so he does not draw attention. If you don't know where I am going with this, Jason Witten is the Tight End for the Dallas Cowboys and a star in Tim's eyes. This totally made Tim's day! He looked so cute being so excited and replaying that special moment a loud with me.
This was definitely a memorable moment for Tim. Go Cowboys!!
Here is some information about Jason Witten:
Jason Witten #82
Tight end Dallas Cowboys
Height: 6-5 Weight: 265
Born: May 6, 1982 - Elizabethton, TN
College: Tennessee
Draft: 2003 - 3rd round (5th pick) by the Dallas Cowboys
We are very excited for football season to start back up, especially the Cowboys! I am ready for queso every Sunday and snacking all day long!
When we first got married I did not know the depth of his love for the Cowboys, but now I have seen, experienced, and appreciate how he can be so passionate. I have ups and downs during the season, but every year is sweeter. I love that we can share interest and broaden our love for life.
I did commit to support the Cowboys in my wedding vows, so I am excited to say GO COWBOYS GO!!

Big Mac Lover
I have had the past two weeks off work and it's been terrific! Yesterday was my last day off work and I really wanted to end my vacation with a bang so I decided to get a big mac meal from McDonald's.
It's a weird and disturbing thrill of mine, but I love big macs and would eat them everyday if I didn't know it would kill me quickly. We try not to eat out, but when we do Tim does not want to go to McDonald's. So this was a treat for me. :)
I went online to see the nutritional facts for a big mac and found some very disturbing news about the big mac meal. Sad to say, this will not stop me from eating big macs but will keep me aware of what I am putting in my body.
These are the ingredients which complete the Big Mac
Big Mac:

These are the nutritional value of the Big Mac:

Tim's Stellar Birthday Bash!
Tim's 26th birthday was July 9th and we had a blast celebrating! We are addicted to the outdoors and started the celebration by going to a park and playing disc golf. Tim loves disc golf and we had not played since we moved to Dallas. Tim loves disc golf so much that he started a disc golf website... DiscGolfShack.com
Go check out the website!

I made a par 3 at this basket! This is a rare occasion for me so I had
to get a picture of this special moment.

I was trying to act like I had mad skills, but as always the truth was not hidden.
We then met up with friends and had dinner at Iron Cactus in downtown Dallas. This is one of Tim's favorite restaurants in Dallas. He loves the atmosphere and of course MEXICAN FOOD!
We had a fantastic time celebrating with friends.

Two weeks coming to an end...
I have had the past two weeks off work and it has been great! I relaxed, went swimming, read, spent time with sweetie, and spent time with people. What more can I ask for!! I am sad to see this time come to an end, but it's good to get back into a semi-routine.
Here are a few things I did during my time off:
- swimming, ALOT!
- finished Same Kind of Difference as Me (Loved It!!)
- started and about to finish Master of Evangelism (Loving It!!)
- hung out with family and friends alot!
- slept in
- wore no make-up alot of the days
- celebrated July 4th with pool time and fireworks
- watched Bourne Supremacy at the American Airlines
- celebrated Tim's birthday
-walked to the Dallas Public Library and got a library card
- went to the DTS bookstore (they were having a sale)
- went to Six Flags
- went to the Holocaust Museum
- dentist appt and had a cavity filled. :(
- walked alot of dogs with Tim
- explored at the Dallas Zoo
I know these things are very basic, but it was great to enjoy the simple things in life. I do have two more days of fun ahead and on Saturday will be doing Transform with our church and maybe going to Taste of Dallas. Sunday will be a day of nothing. Yay!

Ordinary Evening turned Fab!!
Monday evening Tim and I had a fantastic time hanging out and exploring Dallas!!
The evening started out by us going to a new coffee house a friend recommended called Crooked Tree Coffee House. We had a blast reading and talking about God's Word. It stirs my heart to hear Tim talk about scripture and what God is teaching him and challenging him with.
I was very excited to have ordered a vanilla chai latte
that tasted like a vanilla chai at Java Jacks in Nacogdoches!
Oh how I have missed that drink.
After we left the coffee house we drove around enjoying the Dallas scenery and ended up at the American Airlines Center. I am addicted to walking around and enjoying my surrounding and company. It's a simple pleasure of mine. So Tim, being the amazing husband that he is, took me to walk around that area of Dallas. We window shopped and tried to watch the news anchors do the 10:00pm news, but they were shooting the news at another location so that was a no go. But we did walk over to the W Hotel just to see if we could get in, and we did!
We had a blast walking around and being goofy. We went up to the 16th and 17th floors and saw the pool and workout center. We tried to get out to both, but they were locked. Darn it!
Tim was trying to find a way to get to the 33rd floor called the Ghostbar where Tony Romo hangs out, but we could not find the "special elevator". Maybe Romo will call us and invite us personally next time. :)
Nice!
I loved all the glass vases with unique flowers. A few of the
vases had flowers inside the vase part. Magnificent!
The W Hotel is not where our evening ends! A late night Taco Bell run would cap off our great night!! We each got one item and loved it. I loved this sign posted at the pick up window because this was totally us, "Fourth Meal". We had to giggle about that one for a while. Only America would promote obesity in such a cool way... oh what a great nation we live in;)
What a fabulous end to a fabulous evening!
